Tax the rich, relentlessly push bikes and public transport, regulate big business, this is the only way we survive.

The party has clearly shifted right under Carney, but conflating them with the Conservatives isn’t just inaccurate, it’s dangerous. Yes, there’s overlap on some issues, but the Conservatives are far more extreme. We’ve seen what happens when we treat two parties as the same despite glaring differences: it only helps the worst actors.

What we need now is relentless pressure for left-wing policies and holding our politicians accountable.

Montreal recently expanded their REM network of passenger trains, it runs often and it’s extensive. I wish more places would follow suit. Biking is actually my favorite way to get around too especially when there’s properly protected bike lanes.

Doug Ford making a shortsighted move to benefit private industry? Shocker. If the way we recycle the packaging isn’t working we’re left with two options, force a change of packaging or invest in new ways to recycle. Saying “fuck it, it’s too costly” is what got us in this mess.

That’s great news! I wish you would also see an increase in spending for public transit from cities. It’s one of the cheapest ways you can help your most vulnerable while fighting climate change.

God damn, Liberals you have an open goal here. Side with workers just once, throw your weight behind a real labor movement, and you’d leave Conservatives scrambling in the dust. But no. Instead, it’s all half-measures while letting corporations run the show. Missed opportunities are practically your brand at this point.

Yeah, it does sound suspect. I just bought an existing house and it was about 10% and I got most of that back via the first time home buyers rebate. I’d have difficulty believing they would incentivize existing houses so heavily and discourage new housing.
